Over the past four years, we have cherished every moment of selling Christmas trees and transforming the cabin into a cozy holiday gift shop. What started as a small family venture became a season filled with treasured memories, laughter, Christmas cheer, and the joy of welcoming so many wonderful customers.
Our family and friends spent countless weekends together enjoying the beauty of the Christmas season, and we are so grateful for every person who made Oakbrook Akers Christmas Trees, Wreaths & Gift Shop part of their holiday traditions.
With my work at Windsong Acres, two Airbnbs to manage, Lee’s full-time job, and the responsibilities of managing hunters, we have made the difficult decision that last year was our final season.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support—whether you purchased a tree, visited the gift shop, shared a kind word, or helped spread the word about our little business. Your encouragement meant more than you know.
And a GIANT thank you to our family and friends who jumped in, worked alongside us, and made every season so special. We couldn’t have done it without you.
While this chapter has come to a close, we will always be grateful for the memories, friendships, and Christmas magic we shared together.
