📸 Meet our 2026 CLWA Photo Contest judges!

The submissions are in, and the tough part has completed—choosing the photos that best capture the beauty, character, and spirit of the Canandaigua Lake watershed!

But before we announce the winners, we are excited to introduce this year’s judging panel, each bringing a unique perspective and appreciation for this special place we all love.

Alex Schnoeller — General Manager of The Lake House on Canandaigua, Alex brings more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality. His career has centered on creating memorable experiences and celebrating a strong sense of place, giving him a unique perspective on the beauty and character of the Canandaigua Lake region.

Chelsea Dixon-Schwabl — A Canandaigua mom, content creator, and local landowner, Chelsea shares her love of family life, gardening, and the Finger Lakes. Her deep appreciation for the land, water, and natural beauty of the region brings a distinctly local perspective to our judging panel.

Peter Blackwood — A local nature and landscape photographer based in Canandaigua, Peter has an eye for capturing the natural beauty of the Finger Lakes and the landscapes that make our watershed so special.
