Stu was on his own for a week in Cape Coral FL. What did he do while I was in Cincy, OH you ask? Well…he turned into an 80 year old Grandpa and sorted all of his nuts and bolts into jelly and pickle jars!! Yup, that is what the old Grandpas, back in the 1950’s and 1960’s did. Do you remember any old men with their jelly and pickle jar collections of nuts and bolts?? Please let me know your stories.

Haha everything he needed for all of those repairs over the next two weeks could be found in those jars. If you catch a whiff of pickles…..

Fruit Hill Farm, The Guest Houae and The Nest. Good to be back in Cincinnati. My garden is calling and I must go. Spent the day and most likely rest of the summer pulling weeds, pruning etc. HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE, isn’t that what they say!
We have a Guest in The Nest, a new guest arriving for The Guest House. And a missionary group arriving for 6 weeks for both The Nest and The Guest House. My dream of being a bed and breakfast has come true with a twist.
