Amen sis, lol! Jk…just our morning drive to gymnastics practice and then mom heads to her non celebrity life of work 🙃 But she’s so cute and the cinn coffee muffin looks pretty fab too!

Is it ridiculous that I get nervous that I can’t even recreate one of my creations?!?? 🤣 This was a delicious chocolate cake with raspberry filling and my salted vanilla buttercream, beautifully decorated for a golden sweet 16 🌟💛 Yummy and Beautiful! I love being a teeny part of your life’s biggest moments 🥰

Friends! Dual Delights, LLC has several of these AMAZING sourdough loaves available today (Sunday!)! We cottage food bakers unfortunately have to succumb to mother natures plans and despite days of prepping and all the cost and time that goes into baking, just cant set up at events as planned. Don’t let her goodies go to waste (the other issue with food- we are on a clock to get it in the hands of our customers!) Support local! She was gracious enough to sell me a loaf yesterday and my family LOVED it! My hubby made me some avo toast and eggs with it and then we all had a slice with dinner- it was DELICIOUS! 🍦Cookie Club Members, don’t forget to come snag your free Neapolitan Cone Cookies today! I’m here now until 10! (Sorry, I don’t have anything else available this morning- over 300 cookies going out today and that filled the whole back end of the Denali 😅)! For funsies I was weighing and taking pics of this process- over 15 lbs of made from scratch dough (my scale maxed out 😮‍💨)! I had to set up extra tables while decorating and packaging turned out to be more “fun” than I had planned (as always- the boxes never fit like you think they will 😂). A day in the life of a cottage food baker 👩‍🍳

I will be here this week with some goodies I pepped and hoping to raise some funds for the APL and all those sweet doggies and kitties ❤️

I am so excited to finally (yes I am late to the game!) know there is another cottage food bakery in these parts!! I absolutely cannot wait to try some goodies from Dual Delights, LLC! Make sure you are following their page so you can snag some same day goodies and get your orders in! I am a firm believer that there are never enough bakers (the ones pouring love and hours of our lives into our creations with inherited recipes and clean ingredients)! I for one will be stalking her page to try and snag some yummy goodness. To top it off they are our newest Carlinville CommUnity Chamber of Commerce so you know we can expect great things and a love for local!🥖🥯🍪

COMMENT below to “pre-order” your FREE sugar cookies (please note how many chips- you will need to show these at pickup)! I will have them available for pick up at the shop this Saturday, 6/13, from 8-10! If you need to make other arrangements just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I’ve been working on some fun things behind the scenes and figured I should share (because they are just too cute not too) 🙃 I had a casual request for a banner for one of my bakery bday parties at the shop and figured I could do it because ya know, I love being artsy 👩‍🎨 Now I’ve been doing a few behind the scenes! I came up with this one for Max for Father’s Day as a interactive “craft”/ keepsake and I think he will love it! The kids are going to add their handprints and names to it and then we will hang it up and surprise him (I have a few details I need to finish up but waiting on a fine tip paint pen)! You guys have been loving the cookie cakes lately and I gotta say, I am here for it! Guess that party theme 🥳 let’s see how good my design and implementation skills are 🤪 This was another first for me in terms of themes and I had FUN with it. I love being able to get creative!

I am completely booked up for custom orders through July and totally booked up for birthday parties in June! Tis the season for weddings and we have several on the books.

Cookie clubbers- stay tuned for a post later this weekend! I will be offering a sweet little treat for you! I know I havnt been able to be in the shop these last couple weeks but want to make sure you are still getting your sweet fix so I’m baking up something special for you!
