MURDER MYSTERY DINNER DECEMBER 5th!!
"Have Yourself, A Merry Little Murder"

Hollywood actress, Allison Merry, is rehearsing for a new Hallmark Christmas movie, “The Twelve Days Before Christmas!” The production has been rocky, and nerves are running thin amongst the cast and crew who are all on location in New York City. Allison has a foreboding sense of doom and believes that someone wants to kill her!

Dinner and lodge packages begin at $229.95 for 2 adults and includes dinner, murder mystery experience, lodging, and breakfast the next morning (from 8 - 10 a.m.). Dinner and show only option also available at $59.95. Buffet style dinner at 6 p.m. with the show starting around 7 p.m. See ya there! How tall is the monument? Some literature states it's 45 feet tall while others indicate it being only 40 feet. The structure is made of granite which was mined in Mt. Airy, North Carolina (The same town Andy Griffith is from) and installed by the Lexington Monument Company. Another interesting factoid is that when it was erected in 1928, a copper box was placed in what is described as the " chief cornerstone" of the monument. Based on newspapers from that time, we know there are at least 42 items in this box which include arrowheads, confederate money, pamphlets and other trinkets.

We have a real treat for you!

On Friday, October 23rd, at 5 p.m. - we will be offering a fall art workshop in the Worthington Lodge! Join us as you paint, choose from several decorative flowers to glue, install a candle and enjoy a relaxing evening of creating a neat pumpkin crate! Cost is $35 dollars person that can be paid at front desk which will also be the meeting point for the class.
