Minnesota Wilderness and Black Bear Casino Resort are proud partners in celebrating Native American Heritage Month each season through our annual Heritage Night event.
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 hockey season, we are excited to invite Native artists from the Fond du Lac Band community to submit original artwork for the jersey design that the Minnesota Wilderness team will wear during our sponsored Heritage Night weekend in November 2026.
🏒 Submission Process
• Submit your design by July 17, 2026
• Designs must be submitted in PDF, EPS, or Adobe Illustrator (.AI) format
• All artwork must utilize the jersey template provided
• Email submissions to: [email protected]
• All submissions received on or before the deadline will be reviewed and considered
• One final design will be selected by a review committee
🏒 Eligibility & Rules
• Artist must be an enrolled member or descendant of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa
• Late submissions will not be accepted
• Submissions using AI will not be accepted
• All submissions must include contact information within the email
• Final jersey layouts may require adjustments to meet Minnesota Wilderness and
league regulations, including logo placement, player numbers, and name
positioning. Any modifications will be communicated directly with the selected
artist
• The selected design and artist may be featured in marketing materials, photography, videography, social media, and other promotional efforts related to the event
