I would love to take a minute to introduce you to our Camp Victory Team!
On the right is Jason Garland, our Camp Director. His passion to create a space where people can step out of their daily routine to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation is inspiring. His huge heart is easy to see as he leads us and serves alongside us. We are grateful for all he does to keep this amazing place going. He always finds a way to keep us laughing with his dry sense of humor, even on the craziest days.
On the left is Colten Kumler, our faithful groundskeeper and also one of our challenge course instructors. Colten works hard to take care of our property, and it shows! He is a talented musician and encouraged our interns this year with an analogy about roadies, reminding them that unlike a roadie, all of the work they do behind the scenes is seen and so appreciated. Colten is such a joy to have on our team and he blesses everyone he meets!
And I’m Jenn Garland, wife to Jason, and volunteer camp store manager and admin support. My goal is to always make all who visit Camp Victory feel seen and cared for, and I especially love to do so in all the small interactions. Jason and I met at a church youth camp in 1995 and we have loved being a part of camps ever since. We are grateful to have all of our 4 kids serving alongside us.
