Our June and July tour schedule is officially open for booking! If you've been wanting to experience Crystal River Cave, now is the time to reserve your spot.

Please keep in mind that all tours are weather permitting. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will contact guests directly regarding cancellations or rescheduling options.

If you're hoping to attend during peak summer dates, we strongly encourage booking in advance. Availability is limited, and once a tour reaches capacity, we cannot guarantee additional openings.

“Courts” isn’t just a catchy word, it’s a nod to history. Short for motor court, it refers to one of the earliest styles of roadside lodging in America, designed for travelers arriving by automobile in the early days of cross-country travel. Instead of towering hotels, motor courts offered something simpler and more personal: individual units arranged in a row or horseshoe, with parking just steps from your door.

At Crystal River Cave & Courts, that history is still standing, literally. This property is recognized as the oldest surviving motor court in the state of Arkansas, a rare and remarkable piece of roadside Americana that has endured through generations. Long before chain hotels lined the highways, travelers pulled in here, parked under those very carports, and rested above the cave that helped give the town its name.

It’s more than a place to visit, it’s a preserved moment from the golden age of travel, where the journey was just as meaningful as the destination.
