Last weekend, four generations came together to celebrate their beloved (and wonderfully youthful!) grandmother’s 90th birthday.

We just had the honor of hosting a group of Special Olympics high schoolers, and the joy they brought with them was unforgettable.

One student asked if they could stay for 2–3 months 🥹

A host mom shared that another student smiled and laughed more than he had in the past 3 years ♥️

And one of the volunteers said she had never experienced anything like River Valley Place — that it was simply AMAZING.

Moments like these are why we do what we do. 💫

Originally built in 1998 by Warren, our nephew, and lots of little helpers! It was home to a growing number of chickens, goats, and a few beloved horses.

What once sheltered animals has slowly transformed into our beautiful Game Barn—a warm, welcoming space to gather, share meals, laughter, and enjoy some friendly competition.
