3) Deep Sea Fishing: Charleston is known for one of the safest bars on the west coast, and since it is so wide, your chances are good at getting out on one of the many local charter boats. The best and most entertaining fishing is the bottom trips, as you never know what you’ll bring up from the bottom of the sea. Other trips (seasonal, so call ahead to plan one) consist of Halibut, Salmon, and Tuna.
