🔥 Dutch Oven Cooking Class Success! 🔥

We had such a great time today at Lake Eufaula State Park. We cooked up pizzas, enjoyed a fresh salad, and ended the afternoon with warm peach cobbler and ice cream.

Everyone learned about different Dutch oven types, cooking techniques, and proper cleaning and while the food was bubbling away, we played a lively round of nature bingo with prizes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We love cooking and learning with our park community!

🌿🐢 What a fun day at the Nature Center! 🐢🌿
Our craft-and-turtle crew had an awesome time today meeting Little Foot, our three‑toed box turtle ambassador, learning all about Oklahoma’s native turtles, and making a super cute turtle craft to take home.

The kiddos asked great questions, showed so much curiosity, and absolutely nailed their crafts. Days like this remind us why hands‑on nature learning is the best kind of learning.

Thanks to everyone who came out and spent the day creating, exploring, and meeting Little Foot. We can’t wait to see you again for more adventures! 💚🌱

🇺🇸 Memorial Day at Lake Eufaula State Park was an absolute blast!

Friends of the Park hosted a full day of fun, and our community showed up with so much energy. We kicked things off with a delicious free breakfast, then the excitement took off from there.

🥚 Scavenger Egg Hunt that had kids (and adults!) racing with big smiles
🐍 Beaded Snake Craft where creativity totally stole the show
🌭 Tasty hotdogs fresh off the grill
👮‍♂️ Meet Ranger Underwood who is always a crowd favorite
🌲 Pinecone Bird Feeders to wrap up the day with a little nature love

It was one of those days that reminds us why we love this park and this community. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the celebration unforgettable.

Can’t wait for the next adventure at Lake Eufaula State Park, we always have the best time together.
