In honor of Memorial Day, all Tyler Rental locations will be closed Saturday May 23rd and Monday May 25th. Our staff will be happy to set up any holiday weekend rentals for you to be picked up or delivered on Friday. Give your local store a call so we can help you out!

We are pleased to announce that Tyler Rental, Inc. has acquired the equipment rental operations of Interstate Rentals, Inc. effective May 1, 2026. We want you to know that this transition was made with your continued service in mind, and we are committed to maintaining the high standards that Interstate Rentals has built over the years.

Jeff Loomans and Donald Light, along with their team, remain in place and are ready to assist you with all of your equipment rental needs. We have three brand new Polaris Ranger 570 Side-by-sides available for rent. These units are great for large jobsites. With extremely low milage/hours on these units, they will run smoothly during your use.

It is with a sense of achievement and bittersweet feelings that we announce the retirement of Rick Eksund, who officially retires today, October 3rd, 2025. Rick has been an integral part of our team since he joined Tyler Rental on October 1st, 2005, beginning his journey as a Field Mechanic at our original Maytown Shop during the early days of our Washington operation.

Throughout his tenure, Rick’s passion for equipment—particularly his fondness for the old Cat scrapers—has been well known. I’ve never quite understood his enthusiasm for them, but his dedication and unique perspective have always been appreciated. Just a few weeks ago, he jokingly asked when we would be purchasing more scrapers, a testament to his lasting connection to the equipment he loves.

Over the years, Rick has played a vital role within our service team, witnessing and contributing to many changes in our fleet and company growth. His contributions extend far beyond his technical expertise; his unwavering positive attitude, support for colleagues, and commitment to excellence have helped shape our service department into what it is today.

We are truly grateful for Rick’s dedication, passion for equipment, and exceptional customer support skills. His presence has inspired many of us, and he will be deeply missed—both professionally and personally.
