A huge thank you to Adam, Noe and Tanner for their hard work today picking up the beaches. They hauled out seven big loads of drift wood today. On an average year we might haul out two to four loads. Thank you guys for your hard work.

Watson's Resort would like to welcome some of the members of the Young Life U.S. All Star Basketball Team from 1978. We will have a few of the members of this team at Watson's. One has come all the way from Virginia. After 48 years, it will be a wonderful reunion.

Seeing the old classic Watson's Resort boat moored at the resort is always a sign of summer. There were several years where this boat was out of the water on trailer storage. Getting it back on the lake and back to its rightful location was a great thing. In two years this old Bayliner Bodaga will be 50 years old. And it is still a great old boat.

Many of you know that Lake Chelan is experiencing heavy drift wood on the lake in areas. We have been lucky to avoid much of it until that past week. Below is a picture of our boat ramp which was cleaned up yesterday morning and by yesterday late afternoon it was clear full again. Please know that if our ramp is full of wood, you do have the option of launching your boat right next door to us at the Lake Chelan State Park. While boating, make sure you keep your eyes open for drift on the lake. There may be places where it is heavy and other places where it is not. We want all of you to enjoy boating on the lake but you do want to be aware of the drift out there.

Watson's boat fuel sales is open today and will be open daily from now until Labor Day, seven days a week from 9am to 7pm. We sell non-eth fuel which is the fuel you want to use in your boats and other water craft.
