The attached garage houses the owner's art gallery and studio which is open to the public Wed 3-6, and Sat 10-4, by accidentorby appointment, via separate entrance. Plenty of parking. This is an old home and upkeep and to-do projects may be in progress. This house is not suitable for children due to the large number of antiques and Halloween collectibles, as well as steep, narrow stairs. No pets, smoking allowed outside in designated areas only. Fully furnished, the house offers 1600 square feet of living space, kitchen, dining room and living room, 2 baths. 3 private bedrooms are available and located on the second floor all have full size beds, bedroom number 3 also has an antique chaise lounge. All kitchen appliances and kitchen utensils are available for use. Kitchen and baths are updated including new mattresses, bedding and linens. Traditional family boards games available and large yard with outdoor games, badminton, croquet, can-jam, ladder toss and corn-hole are available and free for use. Organic blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, pears, rhubarb and apples grown on the property may be available during season. This home is a 5-minute walk to The Chester Train Station and Museum, downtown restaurants, The Common Table, Blue Note Cafe and Carm's Restaurants. and less than 1/2 mile from the Chester Theater. You can enjoy a beautiful 3-mile hike to the famous Keystone Arches and follow foot trails along the West Branch of the Westfield River, Explore Sanderson Brook Falls, Chesterfield Gorge, Bash-Bish Falls or the Becket Land Trust Quarry. The Appalachian Trail is a 15-minute drive away. A 20 - 60-minute drive can take you to Lee, Lenox, Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Northampton, Pittsfield, Westfield or Springfield where you can find everything-soup to nuts:
