Editing to add more closures and safety info:

- Town crews are not allowed to remove trees on power lines. Please report downed trees on lines to CMP for fastest response and restoration. Our road crew is actively around town working to remove as much other debris as possible!

- RT41 is closed at this time. It is impassible near Cohoon Rd. Please seek an alternate route
As of 8pm the road is still closed and crews are on scene.

- Smith rd has been cleared of trees to be passable. Please continue to use caution.

Today’s brief but mighty storm has brought many downed trees and powerlines across town. Crews are working diligently to clear debris. Please use caution as you travel through town.

Edit: This has been taken care of by two of our selectman!

We have been notified of a hornets nest on the basketball hoop closest to the Town Office building. Please stay clear of the area until we can get this resolved.

The transfer station is open today 7/4 from 9am to 1pm! Have a safe holiday!

We are unable to go live this evening. There appears to be a new Facebook update that requires 100 ore more followers to go live. We currently have 32 followers. Please share our page and follow so that we can continue to use the live feature to stream board meetings. We will try again at the July 16th board meeting.
