With seven beautifully placed air conditioned cabins at the center of Lake Chetek, many find us to be a hidden gem. Each cabin has the finest in lake front vacationing. No stairs to the lake, private docks and a boat appointed to each cabin. Boat upgrades, pontoon boats, and motors available to rent. Our “light housekeeping” cottages are furnished and inventoried with bed linens, pillows, *blanket

s, silverware, dishes, pots/pans,toaster, coffee maker and microwave. All personal items are your responsibility. (Personal items include, but are not limited to: toilet paper, napkins, and other paper goods, cleaning or hygiene products, towels, food, etc.)
*TO ABIDE BY COVID GUIDELINES, PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN BLANKETS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The chain of lakes cover 3,800 acres and shoreline that stretches 120 miles. Sunny Pines’ location is at the hub of Lake Chetek and across from the city beach is prime. The lakes offers champion fishing with Northern Pike, Black Bass, Wall-eyed Pike, Rock Bass, Crappies, Ringed Perch, Bluegills(Sunfish), and Bullheads. Home to the yearly Fish-O-Rama which awards numerous cash prizes.

That folded flag weighs 2.3 pounds, but to the family receiving it, it is heavier than anything this world could ever measure.

Each of the thirteen folds holds meaning. The first represents life. The second represents eternal life. The third honors the veteran being laid to rest. By the final fold, only the stars remain, reminding us of our national motto, “In God We Trust.”

Then the honor guard places that triangle into the hands of a mother, a wife, a husband, or a child who just lost their whole world. No words are spoken. None are needed.

This coming Memorial Day, we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives so the rest of us could live ours. We honor their families who carry the weight of that sacrifice long after the ceremony ends.

We will never forget.

Best decision we made was hiring Majestic Landscape, LLC to complete our Spring cleanup! They did a fantastic job. After 11 years of trying to do it all ourselves for opening day, we opted for professional help… and professional is what we got. Very pleased— and anyone that knows Ryan— knows how much his motto is … ‘if you want it done right, you do it yourself.’ NOT true for Majestic Landscape. Five stars from us! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
