We would like to thank everyone for coming out Saturday to our pre-opening celebration. It was great to see everyone and enjoyed seeing everyone walking around the campground. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but are just about ready to be officially open full time for camping. We are working to update our reservations system and webpage to get back online. We look to be open around the middle of July. We’ll keep you posted. We are grateful and thankful for all of the thoughts, prayers and support. A big Thank You to everyone that helped make Saturday successful.

When the storm washed away our lawnmowers, instead of replacing the equipment, we got GOATS! Honestly, one of my favorite decisions! They are the cutest w**d eaters ever made!
If you’d like to see these little cuties, they’ll be at our Pre-Opening celebration Saturday, June 13!
They’ll also be around on & off throughout our camping season!

It was so exciting to have campers here this weekend! The physical help & monetary donations are appreciated so much! Many have reached out to see if they could come another weekend, so we’ve decided YES, PLEASE!!
We’d like to extend the donation camping to anyone who would like to come anytime from Monday, June 8th through the end of June! Working is not required. Any and all donations will be welcome. If you’d like to come lend a hand, or just set up camp, please send an email to [email protected]
and put “donation camping” in the subject line & let us know what days you’d like to come. We are not able to accommodate RVs, but tents & vans are welcome.
We still plan to officially begin online reservations & opening mid July!

Our FIRST camper since Hurricane Helene!! 🏕️❤️
We’re so excited to welcome back Kimberly Wier Ruel!! She’s been a loyal camper since Grandmama & Granddaddy were here! She’s been camping here since before I was born! We’re so glad that she’s the first! Plus, her favorite site is still here! Formerly known as site 46, she now has site 16 looking cozy & ready for a great night camping!
