⚓💙 A Chapter of History. A New Horizon.

Some places are more than just hotels, they’re part of a community’s story. ❤️

For generations, the Anchor Inn has been a special part of Chincoteague, welcoming visitors, creating memories and becoming a familiar place for so many. There is so much history, tradition and heart behind the Anchor Inn name and we know that moving into this next chapter means honoring everything that came before it.

Today, we’re incredibly proud and excited to share that the Anchor Inn and Marina Bay Hotel & Suites are rebranding to Series by Marriott! 🎉

For the first time in its history, the Anchor Inn will become part of a nationally recognized hotel brand. While change can be bittersweet, we’re looking forward to building on the legacy of these two special properties while opening the door to new opportunities, new experiences and even more memories to come.

Here’s to honoring our past, embracing our future and continuing to be part of what makes Chincoteague so special. 🌊

Same coastal charm. A new horizon. And a whole new chapter ahead. ✨

What’s your wake-up call? ☀️

For some people it’s an alarm clock. For others it’s a fresh cup of coffee.

Ours? The seagulls. 🐦🌊

Nothing says good morning quite like the sounds of the shore.

This is one of those places where you do not need much of a plan.

Just a chair. A little shade.

Something cold on the table and the water moving in front of you.
