Davis Lakeside Campground is a third-generation family-run seasonal campground (April 20 through October 20th) located just outside of Churubusco, Indiana (12 miles northwest of Fort Wayne) on the south shore of Blue Lake. ce to relax and get away from it all. We're a quiet, smallish campground with 71 sites. We are a mature crowd, average ages ranging 50-70, a fun-loving bunch who enjoy the outdoors, the lake, water activities, fishing, campfires, stars, and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, who party without the need for being loud or rowdy. It's a bit like having a lake cottage. The campsites are spacious and fairly level with full hookups for water, sewer, and individually metered for up to 50-amp electrical services, and a free boat/pontoon dock space on our piers. We are very pet-friendly. Campfires, conversation, fishing, boating, floating, tubing/skiing, swimming, stargazing, watching beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and visiting are how we spend our time. We have occasional potlucks, bingo/dice/card games, and live music. People stay for the entire season (no overnighters, weekenders, monthly rentals), it's very safe and secure, and we’re a tight community of people caring for and helping each other. Campers get along and respect each other and each other's space. We have a set of rules that we ask people to follow fairly so that everyone can enjoy the experience equally. Since we’re an older group of campers (most empty nesters), we don't have karaoke, hayrides, or children's activities, and golf carts are used by adults only, not for kid recreation. Blue Lake is a 240-acre lake that offers great fishing and water sports with a public boat launch for easy access to the lake. High-speed boating from 1-4 pm. Seasonal Prices: Lakefront $2,900, Lakeview $2,700, and Lakeaccess $2,500. Additional cost: $60/$80/$110 boat storage. Each site is separately metered (electric deposit paid at the beginning of the season), and $300 security deposit. We don't charge for visitors, golf carts, dock space, wi-fi, pets, additional electric billing fees, etc...
No overnight, weekly, or monthly stays. No motor homes. No bathhouse or laundry facilities.
