Our three camping cabins at Timber Valley Retreat sit on 100 private acres in Clear Spring, Maryland.

Here, you can wake up surrounded by the woods, enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, gather around the fire in the evening, explore the property, visit our spring-fed pond, and spend time along the Potomac River and C&O Canal.

We're close enough for an easy getaway from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

A Piece of Railroad History Found at Timber Valley Retreat! 🚂🌲

Our find today at Timber Valley Retreat Glamping Clear Spring Maryland 3-Cabin Campground

While exploring the property, we uncovered this old glass insulator from the railroad’s old communication lines. It’s amazing to think that something once used to keep the railroad connected is still turning up here decades later.

A little piece of Timber Valley history hiding right beneath our feet. 💚
