We love the way this week turned out. It’s always interesting and rewarding to solve a moose puzzle. Today’s wrap up photo shows both bulls we found this week…TJ and PB. Keep in mind, TJ’s name is a done deal, but PB (Pretty Boy) is still in discussion.
TJ is on the left, and PB on the right. They engaged in a rather intense sparring session that we will share when we get the video production done. In all honesty, part of our reality these days is being sure to get enough rest to be ready to hike each day, we’re not youngsters anymore. We try to make the most of each day this time of year. We love our new life here, and we are making the most of it each day.
We are excited for what is ahead, and we’ll be sharing cool rut action ahead. As always, another new 2026 moose rut video premieres tomorrow on YT.

Little known secret…. it is always least expensive to book a stay direct with a host. Airbnb and VRBO like to add those fees, but we are able to help you and you support vacation rental hosts with their small business. www.croninscastles.com
