Stopping In & Shopping Local: Beach Paws Boutique!
Downtown Colonial Beach President Kelly Woods Vaughn stopped by Beach Paws Boutique for a visit with owner Dr. Caryn Self Sullivan, Ph.D.—and there was plenty to discover!

Located at 116 Hawthorn Street, Beach Paws is truly "A Place for Pets & Their People.” Dr. Caryn has filled this locally owned shop with a personally curated collection of treats, toys, enrichment products, leashes, collars, training supplies and other goodies for dogs and cats. But don’t let the paws fool you—there are plenty of fun and unique gifts for the humans who love them, too!

Dr. Caryn also brings her background in animal behavior and dog training to the business, making Beach Paws much more than a place to shop. It’s another great example of the knowledge, personality and entrepreneurial spirit our locally owned businesses bring to Downtown Colonial Beach.

And here’s another reason to stop in: Beach Paws participates in our Second Friday Art Walk & Sip N’ Stroll, including its popular monthly Pet Photo Contest.

Supporting downtown means getting to know the people behind our storefronts—and we’re looking forward to introducing you to even more of them.
