As a small business ourselves we like to show support to other small businesses in the area. A great way to do this is to spread awareness. The Great Fish Community Challenge is underway right now which is a four week challenge to help build donations for local non-profits. These donations are the pinnacle for these businesses to stay open and keep giving back to their community. Our highlight business is Stumptown Art Studio. This lovely business is not only run by lovely people but it offers a unique experience where children and adults can grow their creativity and artistic identity together. There is glass work, ceramic painting, art classes for children and adults, a clay studio, and face painting for big events. They love giving to the community and helping showcase local artists in their fun and welcoming studio in Whitefish. There’s something about bobcat kittens that makes it pretty hard to look away.

These little ones were photographed during one of Elizabeth Moore’s visits to Triple D Wildlife, and we think they’re a pretty perfect reminder that even our wildest residents have their cute moments.

But don’t let those faces fool you… bobcats grow into incredibly skilled and independent predators.

Every year, artists, either alone or in pairs, trek through miles of the Bob as participants of the Artist Wilderness Connection residency program. With pack horses, the artists hike into the wilderness with all the supplies they need to live and create for around 10 days.
