Happy 20th Baywood Birthday to Aaron Smith. Aaron was hired 20 years ago today, to open our 5th hotel and the first Holiday Inn Express in our portfolio. Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chambersburg has a significant place in our history as it represent the “wood” in Baywood Hotels.

Thank you Aaron for spending the last two decades making it Better at Baywood!

The month of March, we celebrate National Women's History. As we celebrate the accomplishments of all the women in history, we would like especially to acknowledge the accomplishments of the women leaders that, "Make it better at Baywood."

You are the reason it is !

With a heavy heart, and deep sorrow we mourn the loss of Arne Sorenson. Arne was an extraordinary leader who left a lasting impact on our industry. We are grateful for the time that we were able to work with Arne, as he embodied the spirit of hospitality each and every day.

In the past year, Arne's compassion and resilience were on full display, as he guided the greater Marriott community of owners, franchisors and employees through the pandemic. Arne was a special leader, the kind we only find a handful of in a generation.

Please join the Baywood team as we keep the Sorensons and the Marriott family in our thoughts and prayers through this difficult time. Arne’s legacy will forever live on.
