Brethren/All,

Linden Lodge #637 will be holding its annual installation of officers on Thursday, November 16, 2023. WM Elect, Nate Britton, has obtained permission to make this an open installation and all family, spouses, children, and guests are welcome to attend.

Heavy Appetizers and Social will begin at 6:00pm
Installation will begin at 7:00pm

Dress for Officers and Installing officers is Tuxedo (new Officers Black Suit)
Dress for others is Business Formal (Suit/Tie)

Linden Lodge, No. 637 in Worthington/Columbus, Ohio, is opening its doors and holding an open house for friends, families, and interested members of our community to visit and learn more about Freemasonry and our Lodge. We will have lodge members available for tours and to answer questions about the organization and the lodge.

Miles Gilbert (Tim) Horton, famed Canadian hockey player, and businessman, was a member of Kroy Lodge No. 676 in Toronto, Ontario. Horton grew up playing hockey and began playing junior hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs at the age of 18. He became a member of the Maple Leafs NHL team in 1952 where he went on to play for 20 seasons. He then jumped to other teams like the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. With the Leafs, Horton helped win 4 Stanley Cups and was voted to the NHL’s First All-Star Team three times. In his last season, he was the only active defenceman, other than Bobby Orr, to have scored over 100 goals.
He’s known as possibly being the strongest player ever to play professional hockey, earning him the reputation as the “ice general.” Despite this, he also, “did not have a mean bone in his body” according to former Leaf’s general manager, Punch Imlach. In 1964 Horton opened his first Tim Horton Doughnut Shop in Hamilton, Ontario, which is now a multi-million dollar coffee chain.
