Dear Community,
After eight wonderful years, we want to share some important news about Proctor Lake Lodge. Since the fall of 2017, it has been our privilege to host so many of you at the Lodge—whether for Blast & Cast Men’s Ministry hunting and fishing events, family reunions, or just peaceful days by the lake.
Over these years, we’ve poured our hearts (and a lot of sweat!) into making the Lodge a welcoming place, adding a patio, a new roof, and so much more. We’ve hosted over 30 ministry events alone, and we’ve seen countless lives touched, people brought to Jesus, baptisms, and friendships formed here.
Now, the time has come for us to close this chapter. We have sold Proctor Lake Lodge to a new owner who will be making it their home. While the Lodge will no longer be a rental property, we are incredibly grateful for the memories we’ve made together.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone in the Comanche, De Leon, and Stephenville communities. Your support and partnership have meant the world to us. A special thank you to Blast & Cast Ministry for all the amazing events and the fellowship we’ve shared. We are deeply thankful for every person who visited and for the countless moments of joy and faith that happened on these grounds.
While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, we know that this is the close of a truly rewarding chapter.
Thank you all for being part of this journey with us.
With warm regards and heartfelt gratitude,
Greg Young, James Swanzy & Jason Young.
