This year the July Fourth lands on a Saturday — and it happens to be America's 250th birthday. Out here that means a full weekend on the water: a potluck on the grass, the kids running the scavenger hunt, co****le and horseshoes all afternoon, and a horn band playing the old tunes as the light goes down. It's our busiest weekend of the year, so if it's been on your mind — now's the time. Cabins, RVs, and sites are on the calendar. 🇺🇸

Mom and Grandma deserve more than a crowded brunch reservation.
Tomorrow's Mother's Day — and yeah, we know, you're probably already booked into something. But here's a thought: next weekend is wide open, the lake is quiet, and the only thing on her schedule is whatever she wants it to be.
Pack the family up, grab a cabin, and give them the version of Mother's Day where nobody's fighting for a parking spot at the restaurant. Coffee on a lake-view patio. Kayaks included. A pontoon if you want to splurge. Co****le if the kids get restless.
