This semi-private recreational resort and gated community offers relaxation and sophistication nestled in the foothills of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. Course - the Jones layout is the more challenging of Rock Barn's courses and is truly a championship course. It takes full advantage of the terrain as well as Lyle Creek, which meanders throughout the property. Since the Jones Course opened in 2002 it ahas been named America's 4th best course in its category by Golf Digest. The Jones Course was also awarded best new course in the state by North Carolina Magazine. The Jackson Course is the shorter less demanding of the two award-winning courses, but still offers a challenging game of golf. It features a number of elevation changes, and demands that you put emphasis on positioning the ball in the fairway. This signature course appeals to golfers of all levels and handicaps offering a selection of tees to provide a suitable length for all - stretching out to over 6,500 yards. The Jackson Course is truly a great golf experience, earning a rating of 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 by Golf Digest.

👑✨ A special milestone for a familiar face in our Rock Barn family! 💙🇺🇸

Many of you have watched Elaine Miller grow up here at Rock Barn, and now we have another wonderful reason to celebrate her! Join us in congratulating Elaine on being named to St. Stephen’s High School’s 2026 Homecoming Queen!

Elaine is the daughter of longtime Rock Barn members Tim and Carole Miller and twin sister to Evan. Watching the next generation celebrate their accomplishments makes our community so special.

A senior at St. Stephen’s, Elaine is a member of the women’s golf team, Juniorettes, National Technical Honor Society, and Beta Club. She is also gaining valuable experience as a RISE intern at Catawba Valley Medical Center as she prepares to attend a four-year college next fall and pursue a degree in the medical field. 🎓🩺

And her memorable senior year keeps getting better! Elaine was recently featured on the Carolina Panthers’ page after Luke Kuechly surprised her by signing her jersey! 🏈💙

Elaine, celebrate these moments and keep reaching for all that lies ahead. You have a community cheering you on—and your Rock Barn family couldn’t be prouder! 🌟
