Muskego Point Resort We have 15 cabins nestled on both shores of beautiful Lake Vermilion. We specialize in families, fishing and fun!

With our oldest cabins dating to 1894, we pride ourselves on preserving history, while providing modern comforts!

As a kid, Grant Hughes came to Lake Vermilion with his parents. They eventually bought an island on the west end of the lake. After getting married, Grant and his wife Judy bought Muskego Point Resort. Grant’s love of fishing grew and eventually landed him on the cover of the first ever In-Fisherman magazine, making Muskego Point a destination for fishermen from all over.

We’d love to hear fish stories if you had a chance to get on the water with Grant! We know he left a lasting impression on many!

We’d like to welcome Wakemup as the 15th cabin to the Muskego line-up for 2027! Three-bedrooms, three-bathrooms, drive-up access on the southshore and shares a beach with Spruce. The two cabins provide seven-bedrooms, six-bathrooms and are great for large groups!

Thank you to everyone for making our first season at Muskego a BLAST! We loved meeting and getting to know our new guests, as well as folks stopping in from around the lake! We are looking forward to some downtime, but will be ready for more fun in 2027!
