❄️ Last Frontier Council Camps — Winterizing Schedule ❄️

As colder weather approaches, our Program and Ranger staff are winterizing each camp property to protect it from winter storms and freezing temperatures.

Winterizing schedule (may be earlier if the weather gets below freezing):
• Williams Scout Reservation — week of Nov 9
• Camp George Thomas — week of Nov 16
• Kerr Scout Ranch at Slippery Falls — week of Nov 16
• John W. Nichols Scout Ranch — week of Nov 16
• Will Rogers Scout Reservation — week of Nov 16

Camps will stay winterized until March 15, 2027 (depending on weather).

What does this mean? Plan ahead — Be Prepared! There will be limited use of flush restrooms, if any, and limited places to get drinking water.

Gather 4–8 youth from your patrol, troop, crew, ship, or contingent and compete for team and individual champion honors in each discipline! Don’t have a full team? We’ll help match you with one.

Not a great shot? That’s okay! Come have fun, build your skills, and learn along the way. 🎯

Youth & Adult Staff: $20
Non-Participating Adults: $5

Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews are invited to Diamond H Scout Ranch for a weekend of hands-on adventure and skill-building!
Youth will choose their weekend program, with activities that may include shooting sports, fishing, fly fishing, wilderness survival, outdoor cooking, geocaching, surveying, search and rescue, and more. Some programs will cover select merit badge requirements, although badges may not be completed during the weekend.
