Breakfast at Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast is made to order, with freshly baked pastries, espresso drinks, and plenty of choices for different dietary needs.

One of the breakfasts in this video is completely gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian, right down to the freshly baked pastry. And those gluten-free pastries aren’t just popular with gluten-free guests. We’ve had guests who eat gluten choose them again and again, ordering them multiple mornings in a row.

Because gluten-free breakfast should still be something you’re excited to wake up for.

Phil has been building our coffee program around locally roasted Stagecoach Coffee, right here in Cooperstown.

From lattes and mochas to cold brew and a classic cup of coffee, we want the coffee to feel like part of the breakfast experience, not an afterthought.

We’re testing out something new for fall at Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast: a charcuterie board for two.

This weekend’s test board featured Kelley Meats Lebanon bologna from Taberg, Brooklyn Cured rye wh***ey & orange zest salami, apples from Middlefield Orchard in Cooperstown, Hellenic Farms fig and almond rounds with black pepper from Cooperstown Natural Foods, Savory Fig Chèvre from Painted Goat Farm in Garrattsville, cheddar from Spurbeck’s in Cooperstown, peach preserves from Middlefield Orchard, locally made KING’S Rustic Seed Crackers from Franklin, and house-made focaccia with thyme from our garden.

Bring your favorite bottle of w**e and we’ll provide the w**e glasses and corkscrew. Hopefully next year, we’ll be able to offer w**e for purchase here at the inn too.

Enjoy it outside under our grape-covered pergola, and it feels like a pretty good way to spend a fall afternoon in Cooperstown.

Tonight is the last check-in for Yogi in its current setup.

We just cleaned the room in this configuration for the final time, and the twin beds are heading to my brother’s house to become a guest room there.

Next, we’re turning this space into a more comfortable sitting room for two, with a few more changes still to come.

Phil has been brewing up something special with our coffee program, built around locally roasted Stagecoach Coffee right here in Cooperstown.

Choose a made-to-order latte or mocha, hot or iced, or enjoy cold brew, decaf, or freshly brewed drip coffee. All of our coffee, from espresso to cold brew and drip, is made with Stagecoach beans. Whole and almond milk are available.

Not a coffee drinker? We also make our own cold brew Earl Grey iced tea and offer assorted hot teas, hot chocolate, and orange juice.

Drip coffee is available all morning, while tea and hot chocolate are available throughout the day.

Apparently we were late with the breakfast scraps this morning. Bess somehow made her way into the fenced-in patio outside our private innkeepers’ quarters, came right up to the back door, and loudly informed us of the problem.

Then she tried to walk through the screen, apparently taking notes from Zane. 😂

We’re still not entirely sure how she got into the patio in the first place.

The Tosca Suite is a spacious 320-sq-ft third-floor junior suite featuring a king-sized bed, a twin-sized bed, and a private bathroom with shower.

The room is filled with character, including original artwork, hand-painted murals, Turkish lamps, large windows, and 120-year-old heart-pine flooring.

Just outside the suite is our 225-sq-ft library lounge, shared only with the Carmen Suite, with comfortable seating and a dedicated desk for reading, working, or relaxing.

Our third-floor rooms are named for operas in honor of The Glimmerglass Festival, Cooperstown’s renowned summer opera and musical theater festival. Founded in 1975, Glimmerglass has been bringing world-class performances to Cooperstown for more than 50 years.
