As summer nears its end, we participated in the Jim Falls Derby and Parade for yet another year, with Riverview Lodge supporting a remarkable group of drivers. Cheers to Dennis on his trophy win 🏆 and the safety of all others. Thanks to all family and friends that helped this year in the parade. We couldn’t have done it without you all!

This past weekend served as the primary motivation for our decision to acquire this property, and we're delighted to have had the chance to interact with so many exceptional people from across the nation. From Montreal, Canada, to southern Illinois, and everywhere in between, we've met an impressive array of individuals. Our guests have included fans of rock music and friends and family visiting from afar. As hosts, we've divided our time between preparing rooms for new visitors, attending Rock Fest, and taking breaks to fish with our dogs. We're truly thankful for our lives.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not collaborating with us on this project. 🌧️ Our initial plan was to complete it by Memorial Weekend, but that is unlikely. We will remain open during our driveway addition!

The State Hwy. 178 motel is a new venture for the couple – and their beloved “mascot” dogs – but one they enjoy.
