We’re excited to introduce ourselves as the owners of Sea to Shining Sea (formerly Toes in the Sand). We purchased our new beach home in February 2024 and couldn’t be more thrilled! While we have experience as vacation rental property owners, this is our first venture in the Outer Banks. Though 2024 was our first season as owners in the OBX, we've been visiting for decades. I first came to Southern Shores in the late 1980s to stay at a family member’s home, and in 2005, I introduced my husband, Al, to the area. From there, it became a family tradition—our children, now teenagers, have been coming with us since they were babies.

Pool refinishing starts Tuesday, with the major work expected to be completed within the week. We’re also adding a fun mosaic! Everything should be finished and the pool covered to protect the new finish before the end of November.

Our first project for 2027 is about to begin! More to come as we get things moving.

In the meantime, enjoy some ocean waves and a little OBX wind to go with your Sunday! 🌊💙
