🍂 A Little Fall Fun, Texas Style! ☀️

We're finally getting a little relief from those hot summer days here in South Texas, with temperatures in the mid-80s! 😎 Meanwhile, some of our northern neighbors are already feeling those much colder fall temperatures! 🥶 🍁
We're curious! Where are you joining us from, and what's the temperature back home today?

Tell us in the comments! We'd love to see how different the weather is across the country right now! 🗺

Do you have a CDR memory to share?

After finding our quilt from early 2000s, we've been thinking about all the memories made here over the years. ❤️
Do you have an old photo from CDR? Maybe a first visit, a favorite tradition, or a special memory with friends who became like family.

We'd love to see it! Share your photos in the comments and tell us the story behind them.

A Piece of CDR History 💕

We recently came across a very special piece of Colonia del Rey history --- a quilt made by our guest around 2002 - 2003.

Over 20 years later we can still see the memories woven into every square. Each one carries the name of a guest and where they called home, along with a few special little memories sewn right into the quilt. Looking at all the names and places, it's amazing to think about how many friendships, stories, and winter seasons are represented in one blanket.

This is what we mean when we say...

Where RVers Become Family! ❤️

Do you recognize a name on the quilt? If you or someone you know is part of this CDR history, we'd love to hear from you!

The park is a little quieter this time of year....

And we have to admit, we miss seeing everyone around! ❤️

We're looking forward to the familiar faces, friendly conversations, wagging tails, and all the activity that comes with another season at Colonia del Rey.

Who's counting down until they're back? 🚐☀️
