Matt Jackson received the trophy, donated by Tim Panek, for the longest bump board measured musky for the 2026 season at 47" caught out of Indian Trail Resort. He was chosen as the trophy winner because he had caught the most muskies in that size class for the 2026 season.
CONGRATULATIONS MATT!!!

Shelby Justman and Isaiah Anderson also caught and released 47" muskies respectively and each will receive a plaque for their achievements. This is the first time in the long history of awarding a trophy was there a 3 way tie.

Justine Cloyd also caught a musky that was 46" to 47" inches, but it was measured with a measuring tape.
Justine was congratulated, received his ITR Musky button and rang the musky release bell. He was very understanding of the need for an accurate measurement when awarding a trophy and was a big part of the celebration.

Justine is the great grandson and his father Paul is the grandson of the late Elsie Hornor, a previous owner of Indian Trail Resort. They are certainly a part of Indian Trail Resort history and we look forward to their return stay with us next year in 2027!

The lucky winner of the free week for two in 2027 is John & Mary Braunreiter! This is their family as they stay in 3 of our cottages every year. They have been guests for the last 8 years and are looking forward to their stay in 2027.

It is wonderful to watch the kids grow up and experience the outdoors and all that Mother nature has to offer rather than burying their faces looking at a screen. They are actually making their own precious memories with family in person in real time!

Tonight...Saturday October 10th, 2026 we will draw the number of a lucky 2026 guest who will win a free week in a cabin in 2027!

We'll post the video tonight after we spin the tickets and pull out the lucky winner. Those individuals that stayed multiple full weeks in a cabin were allotted a ticket for each week they stayed which will increase their odds...but it only takes ONE LUCKY TICKET TO WIN!!!

Tonight we will also award the musky trophy to the guest with the longest musky!

Reminder to only buy merchandise directly from Indian Trail Resort and not any other source. The scammers profit off small businesses using their name and their followers. The world has become a strange place making it more difficult for small Mom & Pop businesses to survive.

Jeff certainly had a successful week fishing for walleye and small mouth bass. John says he is one of the best walleye fisherman to ever fish out of Indian Trail Resort.

It's great to see the Pike Improvement Project (PIP...removing small pike from the Chip) is having such a positive impact on size class on walleye, small mouth, panfish and musky. Lake Chippewa Flowage Resort Association along with many partners help by donating money and prizes to participants who catch & keep the pike.
