How are you all doing? How has your week been treating you? We hope you are doing well, taking care of yourselves, and finding little reasons to smile.

We wanted to stop by today, say hello, and check in on our wonderful followers. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our daily activities that we forget to ask the simple questions. So, here we are!!!

There is something about an autumn evening that makes you want to slow down, step outside, and take in the beauty around you. The air gets cooler, the trees wear their beautiful fall colours, and the sky gives us another reason to look up.

On October 26, the Full Hunter’s Moon will reach its fullest phase, bringing a warm glow to the October night sky. Here in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, we have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful sight, weather permitting.

A Night Under the Stars: The Orionid Meteor Shower Is Coming!!

There is something beautiful about looking up at the night sky and realizing just how much is happening above us. Thousands of stars, the quiet beauty of the darkness, and, if you are lucky, a shooting star crossing the sky before you even have time to make a wish.

On the night of October 21 into the early morning of October 22, the Orionid meteor shower is expected to reach its peak. These meteors are created by tiny pieces of debris left behind by Halley's Comet as Earth passes through its trail. Although the bright Moon may make some meteors harder to see this year, looking up at the night sky is still a wonderful way to appreciate the beauty above us.

There’s something beautiful about knowing that after a quiet day in Coudersport, you can look up and see a sky that feels completely different.
