Life moves so fast. One minute it's summer, and suddenly the holidays are here.

But picture this...

It's Thanksgiving morning. No alarm. No rushing. Just cool November air, coffee by the fire, and nowhere you need to be.

Maybe you're cooking the whole Thanksgiving feast. Maybe just a few of your favorite dishes.

As evening settles in, Christmas Vacation is playing, the blankets come out, and eventually you find yourself back beside the fire.

A slice of pumpkin pie. A sky full of stars. The people you love.

And there it is...

That big, deep exhale you didn't even realize you needed.

Maybe this year, Thanksgiving could look a little different.

What if...Thanksgiving felt a little slower this year? 🦃

Less rushing. Less noise. Less trying to make everything perfect.

More quiet mornings.
More time outside.
More stories around the fire. More room to breathe.
More memories that actually feel different.

We came up with 10 reasons we think Thanksgiving and camping just belong together, and maybe one of them will be the reason your family starts a brand-new tradition.

Because sometimes the best holidays aren’t the busiest ones.
Sometimes they’re the ones spent under the trees, around a campfire, with the people who matter most.

Thanksgiving at Turkey Quarter just feels right.

We have a theory…

Nobody actually goes back inside when they say, “I’m going in after this log.”

Then somebody adds another piece of wood. Then somebody starts another story. Then somehow another 45 minutes passes. 😂

We’re calling it the campground 10-minute rule.

Tell us we’re not the only ones.

Sometimes it’s not the big moments that make a place feel special.
Sometimes it’s just a single leaf, a quiet afternoon, and that feeling that the season is starting to shift.
This was taken here at Turkey Quarter Campground today, and it kind of said everything.
Fall is getting closer, and honestly… this is one of the things we love most about campground life. 🍂
