Life happened and I'm almost 2 weeks behind posting pictures of our last meeting, but it was a blast! The boys had their first rain gutter regatta boat race and it was as a close one for sure. The boys learned some valuable lessons on winning and also on losing. Tucker Eden won 1st place and we even had another boy try scouts this month! Our little troop is growing 😍

We're so excited for the campout this weekend! Start time is 4 pm at the Ackley residence.

Families are welcome to join for the dinner portion of the campout. Please respond with how many plan to attend though so that we can plan the food.

Hotdogs/buns and chips are provided for dinner. Eggs, bacon and cereal are provided for breakfast. Water, capri suns and milk are the drinks provided. Please bring a side to share and anything else you may want to eat other than what is provided.

Also, please let us know if your scout has a male family member attending with them other than their father, as they will have to complete youth protection training online beforehand. If your scout is unable to stay the night, we still welcome you to participate in the dinner and other planned activities.

We hope all the boys can join in the fun!

Our 1st campout of the year is next weekend, Saturday, October 24th at the Ackley acreage! Please bring chairs, bedding, sleeping gear and a food side. The troop will provide the main part of the meal, the drinks and the tents like always.. see you there!

We kicked off our first meeting of the year last week! It was a meeting all about the outdoors - the 6 Cub Scout essentials and a super fun nature scavenger hunt! We even had a friend join the fun as a possible future scout and we hope to see him again. Our older boys will be working toward being Bears and the younger ones will be Tigers 🐯 🐅

It's that time again! Our first scout meeting of the school year will be on Monday, September 14th at 6pm at the church! Fees are still $85/scout. We will also have the quarterly schedule at the first meeting. See you all soon!
