Participating agencies include Office of Emergency Services and Department of Public Health.

Resources are available on a first come, first served basis. ⌛

Our hearts go out to those who have been affected by the fires. When we were faced with the record-breaking snow storm a couple years ago and members of the community were left stranded and we lost our primary grocer, we were only experiencing a small fraction of the devastation the fires have brought to these neighborhoods and families.

Seeing the communities' response has been heartwarming and reminds us that there is good everywhere we look, if you know where to look.

Well, just when we thought spring was here it snowed about a foot on us last night and continues to snow off and on today.
This is not unusual for March though. Growing up in Big Bear most of my life I've always remembered that we have gotten more snowfall in March than in other winter months. (March Miracle) as us locals refer.
I know I share a lot of photos of Grout Bridge/Grout Creek and that is because it's one of my favorite places to go and check out. It's just so serene and beautiful after a fresh snowfall.
That.....and I only live 2 blocks from it, so it's very convenient for me to wander down there.
Grout Bridge was constructed in 1938 and all out of native real rocks gathered in the Fawnskin area.
