The Hotel St. Nicholas

We are a boutique independently owned historic hotel and former hospital built in 1898 located in the Cripple Creek & Victor historic district.

We also house The Boiler Room Tavern and The Grand Peak Spa. See our website for more information. The hotel began as the St. Nicholas Hospital. Today, The Boiler Room Tavern and The Grand Peak Spa reside in her walls.

Have you had a chance to say hi to the donkeys yet? Here’s some shots of their adventures around town and at the hotel since the donkey release (that stare down LOL). If you’re trying to make your plans for the summer consider coming up here and saying hi to the donkeys, staying at the hotel, since you can beat the heat… it’s cooler up here than it is down the mountain!

This holiday weekend means all sorts of things are starting to happen up in Cripple Creek & Victor. This Friday, the 22nd, KJ Jim with Cosmic Entertainment will be here at the hotel from 6 to 10 PM. Saturday, the 23rd, the Cripple Creek & Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad will be opening for the season. Sunday, the 24th, Kid Blackie Boxing Club is having their summer kickoff barbecue and fundraiser at Cripple Creek Parks & Rec at 2 o’clock. Then Monday, the 25th, will be the fabulous donkey release celebration at 1 o’clock, hosted by the Two Mile High Club. So if you’re thinking of coming up this holiday weekend, you better make sure you’ve booked a room! We are very excited… come visit and have some fun.
