Sustainability at The Crescent is an ongoing commitment reflected in the way we operate, engage customers, and create opportunities for environmentally conscious practices throughout the year.

From regular e-waste recycling and shredding events to partnerships and programming that encourage more sustainable habits, we continue to look for meaningful ways to support long-term environmental responsibility across the property.

During Earth Month, we hosted The Crescent Go Green event, bringing together vendors, giveaways, and sustainability-focused resources for customers. We also partnered with Restorative Farms to pop up with fresh, locally grown produce to support community-based agriculture and economic opportunity in South Dallas.

We are proud to continue building on these efforts and creating experiences that support a more thoughtful and sustainable future.

Customers gathered at to mark this milestone with champagne, cake, light bites, and live music by . It was a moment to reflect on the vision that shaped this iconic Uptown destination and the customers who continue to bring it to life every day.

Thoughtful details of the celebration included custom branded chocolate and a tea blend, Lady Crescent, created by . Inspired by Caroline Rose Hunt and her original Lady Primrose Tea Room, the blend featured Supreme Ceylon Black Tea, sweet orange, rose, jasmine, cornflower, and Madagascar vanilla bean, a nod to The Crescent’s early days and enduring legacy.

Let's take a trip back to the 80s as we celebrate The Crescent’s 40th Anniversary. Dallas' most iconic building was unveiled as Caroline Rose Hunt's $400 million vision, featuring architecture by Philip Johnson and John Burgee, and clad in Indiana limestone beneath the world's largest cut-slate roof.

The opening days were the epitome of '80s glamour, complete with escalator attendants and antique and fine art galleries like Lady Primrose. Beaded gowns were in vogue, and Beau Nash at Hotel Crescent Court quickly became "the place to be," named after the 18th-century tastemaker Richard “Beau” Nash. Stanley Korshak set the fashion standard, and our garage even featured a cameo from RoboCop. Uptown would never be the same.
