One of our most frequently asked questions is "How far are you from Walt Disney World?"

The true answer is "Which part? It's huge". Some will give you the distance or time to "the Arch". There are 3 of those depending on which way you are coming in so it does vary.

We have a few driving routes we can suggest to take you to different parts of WDW, the generic answer is 20-30 minutes covers most destinations with Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios being nearest and Magic Kingdom being furthest as it's right at the top.

Our top suggestion is to get Google Maps or Waze (other apps are available) onto your phone (you'll need data) and check the distance and routes before you leave. Sometimes the I4 is the best route (via Champions Gate) and sometimes it's via 192 and/or Avalon Road/Western Way.

We're always happy to help our guests with advance planning and recommended routes, just ask ☺️

Today is the 10th anniversary of closing on our beautiful Sunset Vista villa. I (Dave) was celebrating my birthday in Javea when the call came through to say it was now officially our home from home.

We are so grateful to have been able to own this amazing home and share it with family, friends and guests as well as spend many holidays here over the years. Heidi and I are looking forward to coming back with our grown up children this autumn/fall, all together for the first time since 2018.

Here's a pic from the day we closed, the big palm tree next to the driveway is long gone and the small one in the lawn is now a lot bigger.
