❤️ EMMA — 17 YEARS OF LOVE 🐾
2009 – September 27, 2026
Today at 1:45 p.m., my beautiful Emma passed away.
Although my heart is broken, I find comfort in believing that Emma is now back with my mom, Bobbi Dimond, where her story began.
Emma was born in Battle Creek, Michigan, 17 years ago. She was a Daisy Dog, bred for companionship and therapy, but she had an extraordinary gift for bringing happiness and comfort to people.
For many years, she was Mom's devoted companion. She also visited nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, where she had an amazing ability to connect with people, including those living with Alzheimer's. She seemed to know instinctively who needed a little extra love.
Emma just knew.
After Mom passed away, Emma took me on. She became my constant companion, my little shadow and my "Fuzzy Ball of Happiness." Through some of the most difficult years of my life, she never left my side.
She traveled with me, went on adventures, made friends with people, dogs and cats, and brought smiles wherever she went.
I will always remember her happy little face, her love of snacks, and that wonderful little butt shake that made so many people smile.
Emma was a therapy dog, but I don't think she ever realized she had a job.
Loving people was simply who she was.
Today, Emma's little denim jacket, collar and leash are sitting here without her.
They are such small things, but tonight they feel enormous.
For 17 years, there was an Emma to put them on. There was a little dog waiting to go with me, following me around, looking for a snack or simply wanting to be close.
Now they are reminders of just how much life and love could fit inside one very small dog.
Seventeen years sounds like such a long time.
Today, it doesn't feel nearly long enough.
I will miss her following me.
I will miss that little butt shake.
I will miss her fuzzy little face.
I will miss reaching down and finding her there.
Mostly, I will simply miss Emma.
My sweet Emma, thank you for every smile, every adventure, every person you comforted, and every moment of unconditional love.
You were loved to the moon and back.
And you always will be.
For a while, Mom entrusted Emma to me. Today, I gave her back.
Take care of our girl, Mom.
Until I see you both again. ❤️🐾

We are thinking of Red Adams today. Red Adams helped my Mom, Bobbi Dimond's and myself in endless projects at our house. Always on time and resonable. Thank you Red! God bless us with Red and we will always be grateful. ❤️🙏

Help!! Missing for 2 weeks. We still want to bring him home
EDIT: Charlie is still missing. We are offering a $1,000 reward for his return

We just moved to DeTour and our cat Charlie has gone missing. He is an indoor cat that got out Tuesday morning. He is blind in 1 eye and has a stubby 3" tail. He is very afraid of other people. He is microchipped. If you see him please call us at (920)809-2728 or (920)850-5897

The Michigan Upper Peninsula’s “No Hiking” Waterfalls Road Trip takes you to view 11 stunning waterfalls near the Lake Superior shoreline…all of them with little to no hiking necessary to reach! This scenic route is perfect for anyone who wants beautiful waterfall stops without long trails, steep climbs, or an all-day hike. Begin with roadside Alger Falls, where the water tumbles beside the highway and can be enjoyed right from the pull-off. Just outside town, Horseshoe Falls offers a quiet, garden-like setting with only a short walk to the drop. Farther west, Bond Falls is one of the biggest highlights of the trip, with paved paths, boardwalks, viewing platforms, and a wide series of rushing cascades that drop about 50 feet in all. Near Bessemer, Potawatomi Falls, Gorge Falls, and Gabbro Falls are all close to parking areas and make an easy waterfall trio. From there, stop at Agate Falls near Trout Creek, then continue north toward the Keweenaw Peninsula for simple roadside views of Eagle River Falls, Jacobs Falls, and Haven Falls.
