When the original Xbox launched in November of 2001, Halo Combat Evolved was one of the launch titles. Players had to control Master Chief with this massive Xbox controller, later nicknamed the "Duke".

Ever heard of the Sega Dreamcast? This was Sega's last dedicated home console and it had some great games. Sonic Adventure is still regarded as one of the best 3D Sonic games, which sold over 2.5 million copies!

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) was officially released in North America on August 23, 1991. The launch price was $199, including the game Super Mario World and two controllers. Other launch-day titles included F-Zero, Pilotwings, Gradius III, and SimCity.

While later being released in Ireland and the United Kingdom on April 11, 1992. Their main launch day title was also Super Mario World, alongside F-Zero and Super Tennis.

One of the hardest (for my kids but loved) games is Disney's Aladdin.
