You know that “we should all get together” conversation? Give it a place to happen. Bring your RV club, family or friends to Woods & River in Del Norte, Colorado. Spend time beside the Rio Grande, gather at the pavilion, and give younger campers room to play. We welcomed the Colorado Airstream Club in 2026—and would love to hear what your group has in mind. At Woods & River, we've built six distinct RV areas along 1,800 feet of river frontage, so you can pick the spot and layout that fits your rig and your pace. Slow coffee by the water. Afternoons with a fishing line in the current. Evenings with nowhere you have to be.

From our riverside basecamp, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Wolfe Creek Ski Area and South Fork are all within easy reach, so you can explore by day and come home to a site that stays put.

Long drives are fun until they aren't. We've built our sites at Woods & River RV Park so you can unhitch, settle in, and stay awhile beside the Rio Grande. Full hookups at Meadow and West Meadow mean less time packing up and more time enjoying where you are. From here, we're close to the Great Sand Dunes, Creede, Alamosa, and Wolfe Creek, so you can explore Southern Colorado and come home to the same peaceful spot each evening. Ever wonder what a year by the Rio Grande looks like? We've watched our riverside sites change with every season, and each one brings its own Colorado.

In summer, we're fishing, floating and tubing the river from our back doors. Fall brings the best color in the valley, plus hunting season for those who come prepared. Winter is quiet, the crowds are gone, and the river makes its own soundtrack. Spring means runoff, trail walks and dogs running free in our off-leash area.

That's why so many of our guests come back. You don't have to pick one trip. Just pick a season and let the river do the rest.

Our River Front, River Wood, Meadow and West Meadow sites are all set up for full RV life, so you can settle in at your pace and explore Del Norte, the Great Sand Dunes and the Wolfe Creek and South Fork area from here.
