One of our guests took this photo a few days ago of the Orion Constellation as seen above the guesthouse. Orion is one of the most prominent and recognizable constellations in the night sky, named after the giant hunter of Greek mythology. Thank you Frank for sharing this photo with us!

FEATURED GUESTS: Meet Tim & Tammy! With their permission, I’m sharing the message they sent to me when I asked them to be part of our featured guest series. Here is what Tammy sent us:

“Hi! We’re Tim and Tammy from upstate New York, and this is our fourth time staying at The Victorian Guesthouse!

We’ve included a few photos of our visits over the past several years. We absolutely love our home away from home in Delphos! Our son, daughter-in-law, and three granddaughters live just about 20 minutes away, making the guesthouse the perfect place for us to stay when we come to visit.

We’ve truly fallen in love with the beautiful house, the charming neighborhood, and the wonderful Delphos community as a whole. Every visit feels special, and we are so grateful for the kindness, warmth, and hospitality we’ve received.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome time and time again. It’s always a pleasure to return, and we look forward to many more visits!”

FEATURED GUESTS: Meet Marti & Joe from Maryland, where they have lived most of their adult lives. Marti grew up in Ft. Jennings and Joe is from Leipsic. They are both retired now, enjoying the good life! Marti was employed in school & public libraries and Joe was employed with the federal government. They are frequent guests at the guesthouse when they return to visit family & friends in the area. Their visit last weekend for a wedding coincided perfectly with the Ohio State/Maryland game! Marti assured me they are both 100% BUCKEYE FANS! They are great guests, valued guests and we always welcome their arrival to the guesthouse!

FEATURED GUEST: Met Amy, a Buckeye Trail hiking enthusiast, from Bowling Green Ohio. She recently retired after 27 years as a nurse-midwife practitioner. Nowadays she helps care for her 18 month old granddaughter and spends more time with her family. Grandkids change everything, for the good! Amy started hiking The Buckeye Trail in June, 2026. Of the trail, to date, she has completed 3 sections and has started 12 of the remaining sections. Of the approximately 1,400 mile trail, she has hiked 325 miles! Impressive! Her goal is to complete the entire trail by June 2028. Amy told us that she enjoys hiking, and especially The Buckeye Trail, because of the support received from other hikers and the new friendships made on the trail. If you have not discovered this great natural resource right here in our home state, get out there! A new world awaits you on the trail! 🥾🥾

FEATURED GUESTS: Meet the WINNERS! For the past five years, these creative ladies have entered the golf cart decorating contest as part of the popular CANAL DAYS’ POKER RUN. They are pictured left to right, first row: Lois, Tracy, Bev & Jan. Second row pictured left to right: Michelle, Holly & Amy. As you can see they all are patriotically outfitted in their Best Of Times t-shirts. This year marks their FIFTH, yes I said, FIFTH CONSECUTIVE WIN! Each year they decorate their golf cart onsite at the guesthouse. You will also find them celebrating their friendships on the front porch when not going to and from various Canal Days festivities. They are FUN guests to host! Join me in giving them a congratulatory shout out in the comments below for their amazing accomplishments. We look forward to their return next year! 🎉 🎉🎉🍾🍾
