Trick-or-treating, but make it strategic 🎃🍬 This , put your kid(s) in charge of the game plan. Map out your route, set a meeting spot, talk through how you’ll stay safe and make a plan for what to do when things don’t go exactly as expected. Being determined isn’t just about sticking with it, but planning ahead, adapting along the way and keeping your goal in sight. And here’s your sign that maximizing the candy haul is a perfectly acceptable goal 👀🍫

Every trick-or-treating crew has one 🎃👀 The Strategist. The Social Butterfly. The Negotiator. The one who’s been planning their costume since August. And, of course, the kid who changes their mind at 4:37 PM on Halloween 😂 Which one are you raising? Let us know below 👇🍬

Galileo chicken has officially entered the group chat 🐔🎃 The hardest part of Halloween? Choosing just one costume when you have so many big ideas. Which one gets your vote? 👇

Collaboration is fundamental to every part of our lives, from relationships to families to work. And research shows that working with a diverse group of people actually makes us smarter. But what does it really mean to be collaborative?

Being collaborative means:

✨valuing the perspectives of other people
✨building on other people’s ideas
✨using your strengths to help others

Want to practice at home? Start with a family brainstorm: a meal, a blanket fort, your next adventure. Let everyone add an idea, then figure out how to bring them together.

Keep the conversation going:

💬 What was someone else’s idea that you liked?
💬 What could you add to it?
💬 How did you help each other?

Save this for your next “what should we do today?” moment.

Today’s video is all about Dot Doodles! 💚 In this project, you will create a series of at least 8 drawings using just a dot 🔵🟢 You will need to be visionary to think beyond the last drawing to come up with something completely new!

This project takes just a few basic materials you have at home like a piece of paper, a few colors to draw with and a coin or something round. Challenge your family to join in and draw Dot Doodles, too. When you’re finished make a collage to hang on your wall or share on social media! Tag us when you do 👀

What’s for dinner? Let them decide 👀 Being visionary is all about imagining something that doesn’t exist yet, and the kitchen is a pretty great place to practice. This week’s challenge: Start with a recipe your kid already knows and loves, then let them change one thing. A new ingredient, a different flavor, an unexpected combination. Have them predict what’ll happen, taste the results and decide what they’d do differently next time. Will it be delicious? Maybe. Will it be innovative? Absolutely.

At Galileo, we believe big ideas can start anywhere. Even at the dinner table.

Wild inventions. Handsaws. Kids running and screaming. And, of course, that one chicken 🐔 Spooky season has nothing on a Galileo summer 👻

10/01/2026

They think they’re just having the most epic Water Day ever 💦 Meanwhile, they’re collaborating, adapting, and building skills they’ll take way beyond summer. The best kind of learning is the kind they don’t even realize is happening.
