South African doctor, Sonnette Ehlers, has invented female condoms with 'teeth' to fight against r*pe.

Dr Sonnette Ehlers has spent more than 40 years fine-tuning an 'anti-r*pe' condom, which is called R*pe-aXe.

Ehlers is based in South Africa, which has one of the world’s highest rates of r*pe and s*xual violence.

She was inspired to make it after a r*pe survivor told her: “If only I had teeth down there.”

"I promised her I'd do something to help people like her one day,” Dr Ehlers said.

Jagged rows of hooks line the inside of the condom and attach onto the r*pist’s p***s when he attempts to penetrates. The device is inserted like a tampon.

Ehlers said the design also serves as a means of identification, as the device can only be taken off surgically by a doctor, giving police the chance to make an arrest.

"It hurts, he cannot p*e and walk when it's on. If he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter. It doesn't break the skin, and there's no danger of fluid exposure."

A 2-month-old baby was among 163 missing children recovered during a massive five-day operation that stretched across Florida, throughout the United States and into countries around the world.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the results of “Operation Statewide Shield,” calling it the largest child recovery operation of its kind in state history.

The children ranged in age from just 2 months to 17 years old. Authorities said many had experienced abuse, neglect, exploitation or exposure to criminal activity, including human trafficking.

“Many of these kids have been victimized by those who prey on the most vulnerable,” Uthmeier said. “These children are now safe and receiving the care they deserve.”

The operation was unlike a traditional missing-person investigation in which authorities waited for leads to come in. Teams used real-time intelligence and field operations to proactively identify, track down and recover vulnerable children.

The effort was centered in seven regions of Florida, but the search extended beyond the state.

Authorities located children across the United States and its territories, including Alabama, California, Ohio, New York, North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Tennessee. The operation also reached into Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominica, Finland, Ghana, Guatemala, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Spain and Taiwan.

Multiple people were arrested during the operation.

Among them was a defendant wanted on three counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor who also had a warrant for interference with child custody. Another person was arrested for lewd and lascivious battery involving a victim between 12 and 16 years old, while another was arrested in connection with a child custody case and for allegedly resisting officers.

Authorities say additional arrests are expected, and multiple investigations remain underway.

Once children were recovered, local law enforcement transported them to designated recovery hubs, where they could receive medical care and assistance from social workers, child welfare professionals, victim advocates and other specialists.

Christopher Robin: “Pooh, you’re getting rather wet.”

Pooh: “Then I suppose I shall be wet for a long time.”

Christopher Robin smiled and moved the umbrella over Pooh.

Pooh: “But now you’re getting wet.”

Christopher Robin: “A little.”

Pooh: “You don’t have to stand in the rain because of me.”

Christopher Robin: “I know.”

Pooh: “Then why are you?”

Christopher Robin thought for a moment.

Christopher Robin: “Because sometimes you can’t stop the rain for someone you care about.”

Pooh: “Oh.”

Christopher Robin: “But you can stand beside them while it rains.”

Pooh smiled his small, thoughtful smile.

Pooh: “I think that might be almost as good as sunshine.”

And beneath one little umbrella,
the rain continued to fall.

Nothing had changed about the storm.

The clouds were still dark.
The puddles were still deep.
And Pooh was still a little wet.

But somehow it didn’t seem quite so miserable anymore.

Because kindness doesn’t always make the storm disappear.

Sometimes kindness simply says,

“You don’t have to stand in it alone.”
