(Not sure why this didn't post yesterday, like it was supposed to, but still something I want amazing moms to see, even a day late.)
The heart of a mother.
The depth of her love. 💙
“She is clothed with strength and dignity” (Proverbs 31:25)
I am reminded of this verse every time I walk alongside courageous moms at an advocacy event, like this one marching at Meta’s NY HQ last year.
In the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, South Africa, and over 50 other countries, Mother’s Day is celebrated this weekend. The fight to reclaim children from the grip of tech is mostly fueled by mothers. She knows in her heart what’s at stake.
For some, it’s a wonderful day.
For others, like the mother in this photo, it’s a reminder of what’s missing. She has a gaping hole left by the loss of a child to a digital platform.
To all the Chief Technology Officer moms who are often the only thing standing between your amazing child and predatory technology, you have my respect and prayers. This weekend, we honor and cherish you.
