Meet Taylor B. Giesler, founder and creative director of the Taylor Archive for Material History.

Her work is rooted in bringing history into the present, using objects, stories, and archival material to connect people back to the individuals who helped shape Detroit.

During her recent collaboration with Detroit Foundation Hotel, Taylor shared a deeper look at the history behind the former fire department headquarters and the people connected to it.
