The seasons are changing, and winter is making its way back to Union Pass! 🍂❄️

The golden colors of fall are slowly fading, the mountaintops are getting their first blankets of snow, and there’s that familiar chill in the air reminding us that winter isn’t far behind.

As much as we love the beauty of fall, there’s something pretty special about watching the mountains prepare for another Wyoming winter.

We’re soaking up these last few weeks of fall at Crooked Creek Guest Ranch before we trade the autumn colors for snow-covered trees, roaring fires, and snowmobile adventures!

Winter will be here before we know it, and we can’t wait! 🤎

Today we say goodbye to a couple of our favorites, Vanessa and Ebrima (B). ❤️
Vanessa has been part of the Crooked Creek family for the past 3½ years, and it’s hard to even think about how many memories we’ve made with her during that time. She’s been such a big part of our crew, and while we’re definitely going to miss having her here, she’s ready to trade mountain life for a little city life — and we can respect that! 😂 We’re excited to see what comes next for her.
B joined us last summer, and after three seasons at Crooked Creek, it’s safe to say he fit right in from the beginning. He quickly became part of the family, and it has truly been a pleasure having him around.
And somewhere along the way, these two found each other. ❤️ Vanessa and B have been together for about a year now, and today they’re heading off on their next adventure together in Denver. B will be joining his family’s business, with Vanessa right there beside him as they start this next chapter.
We’re sad to see them go, but so happy for what’s ahead. Thank you both for all the hard work, laughs, memories, and everything you’ve brought to Crooked Creek over the years.
We love you guys, we’ll miss you, and remember — once you’re part of the Crooked Creek family, you’re stuck with us. ❤️

🍂 Fall Hours Reminder! 🍂

Starting tomorrow, we will no longer be open for lunch. Our restaurant hours for the remainder of the season will be 4 PM–9 PM.

Our final day of the season is Monday, October 26th, so make sure you come see us for dinner and drinks before we close up for mud season!

Come see us one more time… or a bunch more times! 😉 We’d love to see you before the season ends! 🏔️🍻

The scheduled power outage for Friday, October 2nd has been CANCELLED, so Crooked Creek will be operating under our regular hours and services.

🔧 We’re Hiring a Winter Mechanic! ❄️

Union Pass Rentals is looking for a mechanic to join us for the upcoming winter season. This is a seasonal position, and housing is provided!

Snowmobiling experience and riding skills would be a major bonus. This could be the perfect opportunity for someone who already works seasonally and has the winter months off—or anyone who would love to spend the season working and riding in the Wyoming mountains.
